What is a Guardian Ad Litem?

If you’re here, the Court is likely in the process of appointing Attorney Boettcher as your child(ren)’s Guardian Ad Litem (GAL). The Court is required to appoint a GAL in cases where there are contested issues involving the custody or placement of the minor children.
